Minami Shirakami Base is not just a place to stay, but a place where you can experience the countryside in its entirety. We hope that by interacting with local residents and experiencing the countryside, you will be able to enjoy something out of the ordinary.

*We are currently considering introducing a membership system . By becoming a member, you will be able to enjoy special experiences that you normally can't enjoy, and we will provide you with special benefits for your stay.

How to enjoy your stay

Enjoy the great outdoors

There are many experiences that can only be had here, such as trekking and fishing, as well as mountain biking through the Satoyama area, pruning branches in the forest, and clearing undergrowth. You can also enjoy seasonal activities.

Outdoor Experiences

You can enjoy outdoor experiences that can only be had here, such as making pizza from scratch in a pizza oven, working in the rice fields, and pitching a tent under a starry sky.

Interaction with local residents

We are also connected to farm stays, so you can interact with local people. You can enjoy home-cooked meals, listen to valuable stories, and feel like you are a part of the community.

Workcation

We have created an environment where you can concentrate on your work, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can increase your productivity while working remotely by enjoying nature in between work and getting inspired by interacting with local people.

＊1）Stay overnight without meal. self-catering possible. If you request a meal, please make a reservation in advance.

＊2）Heating fee : 500 yen

heating costs are generally required from November to the end of March.

*3) For elementary school children, the fee will be 2,000 yen per night.

*4) Children under elementary school age (6 years old and under) will stay one night free.
